Wine tourism is a form of tourism that has been gaining popularity in recent years. It involves visiting places related to wine production – not only vineyards but also events and attractions with a wine theme.
Tastings are often accompanied by lectures dedicated to grape varieties, cultivation methods, and the secrets of broadly understood wine culture. It is a great offer not only for connoisseurs but also for people who are just beginning their adventure with wine.
In Poland, wine tourism remains a niche form of travel, but in countries with rich wine traditions – such as France, Spain, or Italy – it has enjoyed great interest for many years.
If you want to feel the atmosphere of a vineyard without traveling abroad – we invite you to Głęboczek Vine Resort & SPA. Here, wine is combined with relaxation, nature, and exceptional hospitality.
The history of Głęboczek Vine Resort & SPA is a journey from a private sanctuary to a luxury complex. It all started in 1998 with the purchase of a 20-hectare farmstead with a century-old homestead in Wielki Głęboczek. Although the renovated traditional-style cottages were meant to serve only family and friends, huge interest – fueled by word-of-mouth marketing – changed these plans. In 2004, the place welcomed its first guests as "Osada Dworska Głęboczek."
In 2006, an ambitious idea was born to create a hotel fully dedicated to wine culture. In autumn 2009, a four-star facility with 40 rooms and an expanded SPA area was opened. Today, the resort's infrastructure includes 65 rooms (approx. 135 beds), luxury glamping, pools (indoor and outdoor), a wellness zone, and a sauna house by the lake.
Głęboczek is the first SPA hotel in Poland (and one of the few in Europe, alongside well-known places like Les Sources de Caudalie near Bordeaux), offering complete, specialized body care based on active grape ingredients. Located near Brodnica, the resort is a unique place where wine culture naturally combines with relaxation, nature, and authentic hospitality.
